Human Concerns is focused on all of the social outreach efforts of the parish. There are various collections of funding, as well as specific items such as school supplies, Christmas gifts, and food, along with the preparation of meals for the poor.

Help us stock the shelves of the Catholic Charities Food Pantry this Lent! St. Michael's annual Lenten Food Drive, sponsored by the Human Concerns & Needs Commission, provides essential food and other items to those in need. We welcome all non-perishable food donations, but each week of Lent we'll focus on specific items to help us build a well-rounded pantry. There are many ways to help - whether you shop yourself, buy online, or donate. Here's our suggested shopping list:
There are several ways to participate.
Shop & Deliver: Bring your donations to Mass and place them in the labeled baskets at the back of the church.
Shop Online: Utilize our Amazon Wishlist to easily purchase food drive items and have them sent directly to the St. Michael’s Parish Office
Donate:
Place your donation in an envelope marked "Lenten Food Drive" and drop it in any Offertory Collection basket.

The pandemic is over! Once again we will have gift tags in the back of the church and a December 10 gift-wrapping party. We can help you participate in buying gifts for 350 children.
GIFT DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 7
Take a gift tag from the back of the Church and deliver a new, UNWRAPPED gift with an approximate value of $35 to weekend Mass or St. Michael Parish Office. You can still purchase and deliver a gift if you don't take a tag.
