Parish Life

St. Michael's Book Club

Meetings are usually held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. or check the bulletin or calendar online for the next date.

The Book Club is a dedicated group of readers that choose a variety of books each year. The club chooses the reading schedule for the year in August with the guidelines of choosing a non-fiction, fiction, biography, mystery, moral dilemma and the group has even taken in a play. The discussions are lively and all are welcome to join in at any point. Please call the Parish Office for contact information, 312-642-2498.

Mom's Group

Parish Center Cafe, First and third Tuesday of every month

On this day all moms are invited to come to the Cafe for some hospitality with other moms. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at noon. Children are welcome. There are some toys available but feel free to bring some to share.
Bring your special treats with you if you like also. You do not need to be a parishioner of St. Michael's to join in so feel free to bring your friends and neighbors. You can enter the Parish Center at 1711 N. Cleveland Ave., just adjacent to the parking lot. Email Litcy  for more information.

Knights of Columbus

We welcome and encourage all practical Catholic men (18 years+) to come check us out. For more information and to inquire about membership and participation please email
Paul Laliberte or go to @kofc15771 on FB.

For information about the organization go to the Knights of Columbus website.

Parishioner Welcome Dinner or Picnic

Scheduled at various times throughout the year and held in the Parish Center Cafe

When a Parishioner Welcome Dinner has been scheduled, Christine Kordiuk will contact all those newly registered parishioners to invite them to dinner with the Parish Staff. This dinner or picnic is specifically designed for new parishioners to meet the staff and get to know all St. Michael's has to offer.
