Current Projects where your help makes a big difference:

School Supply Drive
The Human Concerns and Needs Commission has had requests from three different groups asking for our help. We are hoping that each week, the basket will be filled with your donations so we can help these groups. The following is a list of the most requested supplies: backpacks, notebooks, paper, erasable pens and colored markers, crayons, rulers, scissors, colored pencils, glue sticks, and folders.  Don’t like to shop? We will happily accept cash donations (please place in an envelope marked SCHOOL SUPPLIES and drop in the collection basket) and we will do the shopping for you.   The collection will end August 10th.  Those new supplies mean a lot to the children as they begin the new school year so thank you for your support!

Parish Center Cafe
First and third Tuesday of every month

On this day all moms are invited to come to the Cafe for some hospitality with other moms. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at noon. Children are welcome. There are some toys available but feel free to bring some to share.

Coffee, juice for children and some snacks are available or bring your special treats with you.

You do not need to be a parishioner of St. Michael's to join in so feel free to bring your friends and neighbors. You can enter the Parish Center at 1711 N. Cleveland Ave., just adjacent to the parking lot.

Call Toni Dunning at 312-642-2498 for more information.

Scheduled at various times throughout the year and held in the Parish Center Cafe

When a New Parishioner Brunch or Dinner has been scheduled all tnewly registered parishioners will be contacted by a Parish Pastoral Council member to invite them to the event. This is designed to get new parishioners familiar with other new persons and the council representatives who can answer their questions and should their be concerns, forward them to the correct person.
