Spirituality & Stillpoint

It’s that time of the year again! A time of the usual hustle and bustle of the holiday season, a time of office Christmas parties and lots of shopping, a time when we see the fourth Advent wreath candle lit and realize that we forgot about Advent and Christmas is already here. “Be still” this Advent and join us for our Advent Reflection Group! We will meet each Wednesday, starting December 1, 2010, and ending December 22, 2010, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the lounge on the second floor of the Parish Center. Our evenings will give us time to be silent and reflect during this rich but often forgotten season. To sign up for inquiries, please contact spiritualliving@st-mikes.org. This program will be offered based on interest.

Stillpoint provides our parish with ministries that enrich and help develop the spiritual aspect of our faith journey in different ways.

Pathways, St. Michael’s Spirituality Resource, is dedicated to offering insight, community and practices that help us let go and receive God’s love. This online resource provides helpful tools and information for any and all who wish to explore a deeper spirituality

Stillpoint offers a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth:

Weekly Meditation Group
Stillpoint sponsors a Monday evening Contemplative Prayer Group. All are welcome to join in this opportunity to deepen our spiritual relationship with Christ through reflective, silent prayer.

Spiritual Companionship

You and your Companion meet once a month at St. Michael’s for about an hour. There is a $25-50 fee per meeting – reduced fees will be considered on an individual basis.
