Meal Service Volunteers
Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity, but due to busy schedules can’t commit to more than a few hours a month? The Human Concerns Commission offers two opportunities to help provide a hot meal to those in need.
Deborah’s Place Meal Service Volunteers
Deborah’s Place, an organization devoted to breaking the cycle of poverty and homelessness affecting women, offers meal service to those in need. The Human Concerns Commission seeks volunteers to help serve dinner from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Monthly Meetings: 2nd Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. Parish Center humanconcerns@st-mikes.org
Franciscan Outreach at the Marquardt Center
Franciscan Outreach at the Marquardt Center is a facility providing dinner for 75 to 125 people seven days a week. The commission has established a relationship with them where St. Michael’s volunteers provide, cook and serve a dinner once every quarter.
