St. Michael in Old Town’s Annual Gala

The 2012 Sixth Annual Gala, Paint the Town Blue, will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Galleria Marchetti located at 816 W. Erie Street in Chicago. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail hour with dinner served thereafter. The silent auction, with items donated from sports stars and area businesses, will take place throughout the evening. Tickets are $125 per person.

The Gala Committee of the Communications & Special Events Commission is looking for people interested in helping to plan this year’s event. Don’t think you can make it to planning meetings, but still want to help out? Consider donating to the auction! Are you the proud owner of items such as season tickets, a timeshare, or tickets to an exotic location? The Committee is currently seeking generous donations from parishioners for the Gala’s Silent Auction items. Any donation is welcome, especially tickets to a play or sporting event, a week in a resort condo, plane tickets to a U.S. destination, hotel stays, or autographed memorabilia.
