Mission Statement

The Parish of St. Michael in Old Town, built on the care and community of the Redemptorists, provides a spiritual oasis for the gathering of parishioners, guests and those in need, helping them to welcome Jesus Christ into their daily lives. The church’s beautiful architecture acts as a mirror to the heartfelt stewardship, unconditional acceptance and pastoral care shown to the community through the clergy and parishioners.  St. Michael in Old Town is dedicated to the education and formation of strong Roman Catholic Christians through the celebration of the sacraments and the ministry of the Parish Pastoral Council and its six commissions: Spiritual Living, Communications, Development, Human Concerns, Parish Life and Spiritual Life.  As the bells of the historic clock tower ring through the Old Town community, St. Michael’s stands as a beacon of celebration, support and inspiration to all who are touched by the Gospel of Christ.
