Annual Stewardship Campaign

Although the formal, three-week pledge period for St. Michael's Annual Stewardship Campaign ended on November 17-18, 2007, it is never too late to make a pledge as we strive to meet our goal! On the first weekend of the campaign, we heard from the Finance Council about how far we have come and how we need to keep the momentum building. During the second weekend, we heard from our Pastor, Fr. Thibodeau, about building a strong spiritual and physical foundation for our church and our lives. On the final weekend, we heard moving, personal stories from fellow parishioners of what St. Michael’s means to them.

Our Annual Stewardship Campaign is the equivalent to Sunday giving in that it is the source for the parish's operating expenses. Did you know that it takes approximately $85,000 a month to operate St. Michael in Old Town, but the parish raises only $50,800 through Stewardship and Sunday collections? As past generations did before us, we stand today as guardians of a sacred legacy, obligation, and commitment to maintain the well-being of this parish for both ourselves and the future generations who will attend St. Michael in Old Town.

We invite you to consider making a pledged commitment to the campaign by downloading the pledge form or using your credit card on our safe server. Completed forms can be mailed to the rectory or dropped in the offertory basket at Mass. Your contribution, at whatever level, will help sustain our faith community at St. Michael. We Thank you for making a difference and reflecting on our request.
