Prayer is a major foundation of the workshop. Welcome and refreshments begin at 8:30, with the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. There is a $20 registration fee to cover speakers, materials and lunch. The Human Concerns Commission, along with the Blessed Sacrament Children's Choir invites all senior citizens to celebrate the coming of Easter of with a special concert of music in keeping with the Paschal Feast. This event has long been a parish favorite as the Blessed Sacrament Children's Choir entertains all with their jubilant singing.  Delicious refreshments will be served, immediately following the concert, in the Parish Center.

SHARE: Easter

After a successful pilot program at Thanksgiving and in conjunction with St. Michael's parish theme of "Bringing our Faith to Life", the Human Concerns Commission is proud to once again sponsor SHARE -- Singles Holidays Alone Response Effort.  We are asking families of St. Mike's to open their home on Easter Sunday to one or more single parishioners on that day for a holiday dinner. Many times we assume that those around us at Mass have family or friends in Chicago to celebrate with on the holidays, but that isn't always the case; this program provides a way to share the warmth of the holiday with others!

If you are able to host on Easter Sunday, please contact Jeanne Sanna at 312.932.8975 or e-mail her at jeannesanna@yahoo.com. You can also sign up after Mass in the rear of the church. This is not only an opportunity to bring life to your faith but also to make some new friendships!
